There has never been a better time to visit
Scotland - regular flights from budget airlines have opened up the
country and made it more accessible for all residents in the UK to
reach all its hidden destinations including Edinburgh, Inverness,
Glasgow and Aberdeen. For a great short break in Scotland we would
highly recommend that you visit the vivacious city of Edinburgh. Take
a tour around the glorious castle or spend the day shopping on Prince’s
Street - in the evening the city truly comes alive with lively bars
and restaurants. During the latter half of August the city hosts the
Edinburgh festival which fills the city with colourful and charismatic
street performers.
The Scottish Highlands are a perfect location to enjoy a gentle cottage
holiday along the Lochs or nestled beneath the mountains and hills
that dominate this sublime landscape. Alternatively if you don’t
want to travel that far into Scotland then the area of Dumfries and
Galloway is popular with holidaymakers and is made up of quaint fishing
villages along the coastline to wonderful rolling countryside towards
