The Axarquia (Costa del Sol) - Costa del Sol (Malaga Province) region
Nerja has a very good bus service to other towns and villages nearby as well as to Malaga and Granada.
Malaga Airport is the nearest airport 55km and 45 mins drive away. It is accessible by bus or car. Granada airport is 1h drive away also. The ski resort of Sierra Nevada is only 1.15h drive away.
The Tourist Information Centre can be found at the Nerja Town Hall and has multi-lingual staff and all the information you need for the Costa del Sol.
There are endless activities and excursions available in Nerja and the surrounding area catering to all age groups all year round. Excellent sports facilities, restaurants and entertainment. There are also countless beaches and activities for families in other nearby towns.

Cooking yourself is ideal whilst sitting out enjoying the weather in this corner of the Costa del Sol. Up to 400 restaurants and eateries are not far away in the town centre or on the beach sides of Torrox and the nearby town of Nerja. The countless beaches are a maximum of 2km away, easily reached by foot or by car. Also available are the mountains and extensive countryside with numerous towns and villages, restaurants and country bars to eat in and enjoy magnificent views from.
Torrox & Nerja cater for everyone, especially families. The caves of Nerja in the Maro enclave are not to be missed and there are plenty of sports facilities on offer. Excursions inland or watersports are to be easily found and the are evenings packed with fiesta feeling and lots of activity on the Balcón de Europa.
