Casa Quinda description

2 minutes from closest beach, El-Portet. 5 minutes from shops bars and restaurants. There is wifi available at the villa. Has everything required for a great holiday.

Beautiful views, excellent location. Very relaxing or plenty to do, if that's what you want.

Casa Quinda is situated in a desirable location a five minute drive from Moraira town centre and its shops, restaurants and bars, and ten minutes to the nearest golf course.There is WIFI available at the villa.

The nearest beach, 'El Portet', is a 2 minute drive away, a 15 minute walk. (20-25 mins on way back as up hill)

The open views are stunning, of pine forests, hills and valleys.

Casa Quinda is a two storey Castellion style detached villa on a level plot.

As you enter the plot there is a gate that leads onto the drive, where you can park up to three cars. There is also parking available immediately outside the villa.

The villa is totally enclosed once the front gate is closed.
At the front of the villa there are large palm trees - there is also a terrace on this level which overlooks the pool. A few steps down from the pool there is a big terrace for playing games...badminton, table tennis or football or just reading or relaxing in the sun. The terrace around the pool is large and has plants and statues, a built-in barbecue and a tiled table and chairs. It is south facing, so the pool and garden has the sun all day. There is also an outside shower and sink, as well as a covered outdoor kitchen area -Naya-should you wish to sit in the shade. There is a fridge here so you can enjoy cold drinks at the pool without having to go too far.

Accommodation:
The upper level has a double and twin bedroom, a walk in shower room, a new fully fitted kitchen, leather corner suite in the living room, with satellite television, and dining area with a table that seats up to 10. There is also a terrace off the dining area, overlooking the pool.

The lower level is accessed externally and is separate from the upper level. It is ideal for a family or two couples as you have an external entrance to each room, but can also enter each room through a small corridor internally. You have a double bedroom, a large family bedroom (with a double and twin beds), with both bedrooms having windows overlooking the pool, and a large shower room. The washing machine is also on this level. There is a tv with a dvd player in the family room, you can also bring your wii or other console to connect to this tv.

There is an English library with a variety of books and a DVD library of family, adult and children's films.

There are mosquito nets on the windows in the bedrooms, for your comfort.

Air-conditioning and warm-air heating - Upstairs only - there are units in the living/dining areas and the master bedroom, charged extra, based upon meter readings taken at the beginning and end of your stay.

Additional Deposits - A 50 Pound deposit (per week) is required, irrespective of whether you will be using it or not. This will appear automatically on the booking form. The unused amount will be returned following the meter reading.

Heating - there are electric radiators, and a gas fire in the family room downstairs.

The Javea, Moraira & Denia area - Costa Blanca & Alicante region

The central area of Spainís Mediterranean coast (the Costa Blanca) has been known as the White Coast for 2500 years. Its 170 miles of coast feature unforgettable sandy beaches and inviting blue-green seas.

Thereís a huge variety of coastal resorts Ė Moraira, Javea, Calpe, Denia, Altea, Benidorm, Villajoyosa, Alicante and Spain's third largest city, Valencia Ė plus truly spectacular scenery inland, including the mountain-top fortress of Guadalest, Europeís largest palm forest at Elche and the ancient city of Murcia.

Superb Climate - the World Health Organisation has declared that the Moraira, Javea and Denia peninsula of the Costa Blanca has "one of the most environmentally perfect climates in the world."

The Costa Blanca has three times the number of EU Blue Flags than any of the other Costas. EU Blue Flags are highly sought-after ratings, showing the beaches are clean, well-tended and very safe for family bathing.
And, when you want to get away from the beach, you can take the family to the amazing Terra Mitica theme park near Benidorm and the Vergal Safari Park near Denia.

A mild all-year-round climate and an average of 320 days sunshine each year adds to the attraction. The World Health Organisation has designated this area as possessing one of the finest climates found anywhere, and the EU has awarded many of the beaches in the area the prestigious "blue flag" for water quality and cleanliness several years running.
The landscape of the Northern Costa Blanca is blessed with greenery year round, unlike that of the Southern Costa Blanca or Costa del Sol, with wonderful mountain vistas looking inland from the kilometres of beaches, or within the fabulous valleys, famous for their wine, (such as the increasingly popular Jalon Valley), or the abundant, but slightly higher elevation Citrus Valleys (notably of the Orba region).

The coast is dotted with unspoilt Spanish villages and resorts, popular with vacationers and residents looking for the more relaxing side of Spain and wishing to avoid mass tourism. Twenty-four hour entertainment can still be found a short drive away from these towns and villages in the busy vacation resort city of Benidorm however, for those choosing to enjoy it. In addition the region boasts many established and new Golf courses, one of the biggest water parks and also Theme parks in Europe, as well as unparalleled water sports, both surface and sub-aqua, (there are some of the largest Marine Parks in Europe clustered within the boundaries of the Northern Costa Blanca, as well as good water conditions and visibility). For those wishing to "shop until they drop" apart from Benidorm's dozens of boutiques, shopping mall and pedestrian shopping areas, Alicante, and Valencia cities both lie within and easy car ride along the coast in either direction. Valencia in particular also offers marvellous Aquarium, Museum and public attractions to the Visitor, as well as historical places of interest.

If your tastes incline more towards the countryside, you will soon discover the other side to the Costa Blanca. Those limestone hills and cliffs pretty soon turn into mountains as you head inland. They provide fantastic walking country, with well-marked paths through fragrant scrub reminiscent of Corsicaís maquis. One example is a circular route in and through the Sierra de Bernia - literally through, because part of the path is a narrow, low natural tunnel pierced through the actual mountain ridge.

Even if you donít want to go walking, itís well worthwhile exploring inland by car. Some of the villages are well known - Guadalest is offered as an excursion to every package tourist on the coast - but others, like Castel de Casrels, are out of reach of coaches and pleasant to wander around. On an inland drive, youíre guaranteed amazing views and beautiful countryside. And one nice aspect of this part of Spain is that you're never far from a restaurant, often offering lunch on a shady terrace with stunning views.

Not that you necessarily need a car to enjoy the Costa Blanca. Thereís a charming narrow gauge railway that sways and rattles all the way from Alicante to Denia, with stations at all the main towns. Itís worthwhile as an experience in itself because it gives a quite different view of the countryside, away from the main roads, and can be quite exciting as it plunges through tunnels and over bridges. But itís also worth taking the train into Alicante for a city awayday - itís an impressive, vibrant city with an attractive waterfront and great shopping and restaurants.

The shopping experience back in the smaller towns tends to revolve around their thriving local markets. Friday in Moraira, there is a list at the villa. Hundreds of stallholders will vie to sell you their freshly picked local produce - this is, after all, the part of Spain that supplies a large part of the fruit and veg sold in British supermarkets, though they do of course keep the tastiest and freshest for local consumption! But it isnít just food - pots and pans, clothes, leather goods and plenty more are all on offer.

Talking of shopping, what will probably strike you about the town centres is that they are far less dominated by national chains than at home. Although there are plenty of big supermarkets, most shops are still family-owned and itís easy to find the sort of jam- packed ironmonger or haberdasherís shop that disappeared years ago. Shoe shops, clothes shops, electrical shops - there are dozens.

5 minutes from the villa is a Go-Karting track, ideal for the whole family.

Situated between Moraira and Javea (via Benitachell) is a 9 hole golf course, par 72, 6,070 m, Green fees 28 Euros. This all-year course has been attractively planted and landscaped around the greens, has a driving range, putting green, heated swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, club bar and restaurant.
