The Tras-os-Montes - North Portugal region
One of the largest avenues in Braga, this is the main axis of the historical centre. Coming from the 16th century, it was being enlarged and re-baptized, until its actual look and name.
any people said this is hard to visit,because itīs some kmīs away from the city.But itīs very easy to visit!!!Donīt miss it!Tkae bus nro 2 (maybe you should check this from tourist-info,if it has changed) close to corner of Avenida de Liberdade and Rua 25 de Abril.Bus-driver didnīt speak English,but understood"Bom Jesus" and took the right price.I donīt remeber how much it was,but quite cheap.When you arriver to area,you must choose if you want to take a funicular or walk up the stairs.We did take the funicular,to save the time.I did have to walk some way up anyway,so I could take photos of the stairs.They donīt show at parking area.
