House in quiet elevated position with stunning views over the surrounding countryside
Comfortably furnished throughout with large sun terrace.
7kms from ancient market town of Coja - with lovely river beach.
This lovely house was renovated in 2011 and is situated in the mountain village of Bocado, 7kms from Arganil and 7kms from Coja in beautiful Central Portugal. There are wonderful views from the front terrace and spectacular sunsets at night!
There are 3 double bedrooms 2 with a double bed and a smaller twin bedroom, all have wardrobes. There is a separate shower room with toilet and bidet.
The lounge has a wood burning stove for the winter months, TV, seating for 6 people and a sofa bed. There are also some books and games.
The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped for self-catering with a gas cooker, microwave, washing machine, kettle, toaster, iron and board etc. and has a table and chairs for 6.
Outside is a large terrace with a BBQ and outdoors furniture for dining in the open whilst enjoying the spectacular views.
The house is approx. 50 kms from the ancient city of Coimbra with good connecting roads and takes approx. 45 mins to drive from there. The airport at Porto is approx. 150kms and the airport at Lisbon is approx. 200kms.
There are lots of River Beaches in the area where you can swim or relax by the clear waters, a perfect place to come and unwind!

The Coimbrao - Costa de Prata (Silver Coast) region
Central Portugal retains a charming sense of relaxation and being in the `Real Portugal`. The area is very beautiful with winding rivers in the valley and little villages peppered along the hillsdes. The Rio Alva has many river beaches to try, some more popular and others just waiting to be discovered.
Coja is an ancient market town 2kms away and has restaurants, shops, bank and street cafes. The river beach is here where you can swim in the clear cool waters of the Rio Alva or hire a canoe for messing about on the river!
The district town of Arganil is approx. 15kms away with music and dance in the main square every Saturday night throughout August.
Coimbra is one of the oldest university cities in Europe and is approx. 50 kms away, well worth a visit just to wander the cobbled streets or along the river front.
