The Guerrero - Mexican Riviera region
Troncones is a charming village located on the Pacific coast of Mexico. This area averages 300 sunny days a year with temperatures ranging from 23-33C. It is far enough away from Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo to escape the hordes of tourists but close enough to access mega super-market shopping. There are a range of eating establishments -from small family run traditional Mexican fare, to sports bars, and those that offer gourmet meals. Many offer entertainment. Small stores offer fresh produce, drinks and local arts and crafts. Activities include swimming, exploring the tidal pools, bird watching, horseback riding on the beach, surfing, massages (can be booked for your room), reading, cycling, and sunbathing. The community has a project underway to protect the sea turtle. Tourists are invited to participate by watching (and sometimes helping) the release of the baby turtles as they hurry into the waves.

The spacious master bedroom has a kingsize bed, large dressing area and a huge onsuite bathroom. It has a view of the ocean and the garden. The second bedroom is smaller. It has a queen-sized bed and onsuite bathroom as well.

Enjoy the large, fully equipped, private kitchen that overlooks the ocean. All the necessary cooking utensils, blenders, toasters, coffee makers, kettles, pots and pans, and linens etc are provided. There is a half bath in the kitchen/great room area.

The dining table has a unique cactus root base and round marble-top. It seats 5-6 comfortably. You have a choice of colorful, more casual, dishes or sleek white china for your meals.
