Begun around 500 years ago, Casa Sin Nombre was the first house to be built outside the protection of the massive 1000 year-old town wall. It is on the quieter South side of the Old Town, on a narrow, cobbled street. Through the ancient double doors is the Zaguan - a shady entrance vestibule. Close the doors and walk down the steps, under the stone arch, into the patio - a cool, central, open courtyard - and relax in the calm atmosphere. The ground floor apartments lead off and two open staircases lead up to the 1st floor. A 3rd staircase leads to roof terraces from a pretty veranda. Here you will find sun beds, tables and chairs and a shower. The panoramic views from the roof are breath-taking.

The Cadiz Province - Costa de la Luz (Cadiz & Huelva Provence) region

. Costa la Luz is delightful. Unspoilt, the choice of Spanish holidaymakers in the summer. The beaches are breathtakingly beautiful.....my favourite, El Palmar, is almost deserted apart from July and August. And it's just a short drive from the house down minor roads. Did you know that the Battle of Trafalgar was fought offshore here? The area is easily reached by air ( Stanstead to Jerez on Ryanair, Manchester,Luton or Gatwick to Gibraltar) plus about one hours drive from either airport. Malaga is also a possibility, but further away.

Casa sin Nombre has a number of pretty sunny terraces and the cooler patio in the centre of the house with plants and flowers. There are tables and chairs in every area, with Moroccan day beds on the rooftop terrace. Two sunbathing loungers are on the rooftop terrace which has a shower. Terraces have amazing views to the sea and also over the village
