Welcome to an area full of history and atmosphere. This is a charming town house full of unique features, like the original stone floor, fire place and stunning stellar vaulted ceilings in both bedrooms but with all mod cons you could require - hot and cold water, air con, bidet, showers, TV, fully equipped designer kitchen with all utensils, and two dining tables. The bedrooms have en-suite facilities. It is furnished in a minimalist, moderne style. A separate entrance to the second bedroom ensures that guests have privacy and can come and go as they please. There are four roof terraces with sun-loungers, dining furniture, and terracotta pots and plants. The house is on the first floor, with two levels and four terraces above. The property is very close to restaurants, take-aways, a park, a castle, bars, cafes, patisseries and shops. A local British agent is ready to help and address your needs. Parking is on-street nearby and there is a cornucopia of beaches 10-15 mins drive away.

Holiday Experience

Great location for the South-Italian holiday experience. Chill out with a glass of local wine on our beautiful and secluded terraces. Two terraces overlook the centre with its medieval castle and park square, and two more are equipped with a table and benches, sun lounges, and palms, lemon and orange trees in terracotta vases. They are also ideal for breakfasting or dining 'al fresco' on local organic produce straight from the village market taking place each friday. You can explore Corigliano, one of the most beautiful villages in the area, which holds the official title of 'Villaggio Culturale'. This means that there are many cultural activities of a non-commercial nature. Or you can take a short drive to many stunning and Blue Flag beaches. Coastal walks and scenic drives are comparable with Amalfi Coast. The nearby city of Lecce is called the 'Florence of the South'.

Gallipoli is a charming fishing village surrounded by beautiful beaches. Nearby town of Galatina is a birthplace of tarantella and Basilica of Santa Caterina is worth a detour. Sant Andrea and Ciolo have stunning coastal walks. Santa Maria di Leuca is another pleasant spot. Centre of Nardo is worth a visit due to its atmosphere and architecture. Corigliano is right in the middle of it. If you want to drive a little bit further, between Brindisi and Bari you will find a green and hilly area with whitewashed town of Ostuni, baroque town of Martina Franca, or the world-heritage town of Alberobello, full of gnome-like trulli houses.

Travel

The nearest airport is Brindisi (approximately 45 min to drive to Corigliano). You can also fly to Bari, but this is further away. Corigliano has a small railway station, but having a car is strongly recommended to access the most beautiful beaches and sites of interest in the area. Italian Government declared areas close to many local beaches as national reserves and places of outstanding natural beauty for the visitors to enjoy. The area therefore escapes crowds of mass tourism, making it unique and special. The beaches in South Puglia are second to none and look more Caribbean than Mediterranean. If you like fine white sand and crystal clear azure water - you've got it. And if you like dramatic coastlines for walks - you can't go wrong either.
