Traditional detached house of 90m², with private pool and breathtaking seaview. Sleeping up to 5 persons max, has two bedrooms (one double, one twin) with seperate balconies, one bathroom (washing-machine, hair-dryer, air-cooler), one fully equiped kithenette, a dining area, a living-room (fire-place, sofabed), a picturesque backyard and a spacious roofed veranda with panoramic view both to mountain and to the sea. An open parking space is also available. The house is located on a private estate of approx 11,000m², perched on a hillside overlooking the Gulf of Aetos, near Vathy, Ithaca. The estate is full of olive and many other fruit-bearing trees; there is also a vineyard. The visitors can rest or walk under the natural shade of trees, pick up and taste fruits, participate in the traditional vine-harvest (end of August) or the olive-harvest (end of September). We offer to all our visitors pure natural fruits, vegatables, olive olive and house wine of our estate. The house is situated on a peaceful location with panoramic view, near the archeological site "Cave of the Nymphs", where Odysseus is supposed to have hidden his treasures when he returned to Ithaca. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax close to nature and away from the noise of the centre, yet you are not going to feel insecure as it is only 5 minutes away from the port and the main town of Vathy (where there are shops, supermarkets, hospital, restaurants and bars, bank, post office etc.) and 2 minutes from the nearest beach , Dexa (by car).
