This typical renovated Portuguese cottage comprises:Large living room with log fireplace leading to area with sofa bed. There are two bedrooms the double with an en suite bathroom, the twin is near the other shower / toilet room. The lounge has TV, video, music centre and is very comfortable and tastefully furnished. The modern kitchen is well equipped with cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, crockery etc, and also has a dinning area for up to six people. Outside there is a covered terrace for outside dining and a barbecue area There are plenty of sun beds in the garden and a lovely view across the fields opposite as you sit sipping the extremely reasonable local wines and beers. There is a private parking space (and privacy is assured and the owner our mother lives next door)

The nearest beaches are 5 minutes drive away and there is a beautiful 5 pool indoor/outdoor baths 5km away in Loule. The beaches are breathtakingly beautiful and in our view the best in Europe and have a wealth of water sports and snorkeling to offer. There are also 2 waters parks within 3 minutes of the cottage. The marina has shark fishing and trips along the coast to offer coupled with an outstanding range of cuisine to suit every palette. Other activities on offer include cycling, kart racing, horse riding, paragliding and 6 world famous Golf courses. Ramblers are in their element with many gorgeous country walks situated nearby. We have an information box with other places of interest, maps and recommended locations to try to suit your every interest.
Eating out
All tastes are catered for in the massive choice of international cuisine along with the excellent local fish and Piri-Piri chicken houses the Portuguese are famous for. Children are extremely welcome and Vilamoura (4km away) even has a ‘McDonalds’. We can advise you on the best restaurants and prices in the area or let you sample the gorgeous foods and wines at your leisure. You are in for a gastromic treat.
