This large stone cottage which is within walking distance of Vindolanda Roman fort and Hadrian's wall combines traditional cottage features (large woodburning fire) with Swedish technology to provide warm and comfortable accommodation whatever the weather outside.
In addition to the two double bedrooms the cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave etc. The large L shaped dining area and sitting room have superb views over the mature private garden, south to the Tyne Valley and access to the private patio with BBQ and sun loungers.
The cottage welcomes walkers with well behaved dogs, has safe storage for bicycles, provides WiFi access and is an excellent base from which to explore the nearby attractions of the Northumberland National Park and Eden valley.
