Only five minutes away, you can visit Marigot, a French port with outside cafes and shops, or take a day trip to Anguilla, an island close by. Orient Bay is also nearby. Enjoy water sports and sailing, the rainforest, fine dining and fantastic night life. Casino is two miles away. The Queen of the Netherlands chose to stay at Sapphire Beach when she visited St. Maarten. It is truly an island paradise. After visiting once, you will want to return again and again.
