The Funchal Area - Madeira Island region
The apartment is conveniently situated on the popular Estrada Monumental where many 5 star hotels and restaurants are located. The apartment is in a excellent location, for you to be able to relax, and everything you need is within a few minutes walk.
There is a bus stop outside the apartment together with a taxi rank .Funchal city centre is a 5 minute ride on the bus,taxi or by car, or a pleasant walk along the promenade to Funchal city centre, within a 25-30min walk. It is not necessary to have a hire car.
Bank, restaurants, Atm cash machines, hairdresser- within a few mintues of the apartment.
There is a coastal promenade adjacent to the apartment complex,which also gives access to natural rock pools and swimming pools for bathing. There is a stone and black sand beach within a 5 minute walk.
A new addition to the area is a health club with indoor swimming pool etc just 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
The Madeira Forum shopping centre is opposite the apartments also, with a supermarket and
shops and a cinema.
