If you are 4 people, let say mom, dad and two children over 12 years old, you can choose a 2 bedrooms in the Av. 28 de Julio, very close to everything.
All the aparments have cable TV, DVD, direct dial phone, WIFI, full kicthen or kitchenette, iron and board, clock radio, and more, much more.

The Miraflores - Lima region
Miraflores is the touristic district of Lima in Peru. You will be close to everything, since the main hotels, travel agencies, and airlines office are here. The best of the Peruvian food are in the many restaurants around the district, as well as cafeterias and fast food chains.
Do not forget to ask for a "pisco sour". The best place to do this is in the restaurant La Rosa Nautica (you can search for it in google). We have a great diversity of mixtures in food: just Peruvian, then Peruvian-chinese, Peruvian-italian, Peruvian-african.
An also we have great international food. We love to dine out of home so, the most developed business is restaurants.
Then you have a very active night life with dancing, casinos, live shows, and the like.
For shopping, Miraflores has the main concentration of handicrafts in Av. Petit Thuars, then original paintings in the Central Park of Miraflores, and antiques in Av. La Paz.
For modern malls, the best is Larcomar, the mall by the ocean.
Finally but not the least important, we have an archeological site called Huaca Pucllana
