Situated behind the pool area, with direct views on the pool, garden and beach, the premium apartments provide the perfect respite from a perfect day under the tropical sun.

The ground floor units enable guests to walk straight out towards the the pool area, while the first level units enjoy a flawless view of the Horizon.

Modern touches such as glass bordered balconies, 40 inch flat screen televisions, Nespresso machines and sleek architectural lines make the beachfront Apartments a premier choice of accommodation on the West Coast for the discerning traveller.

Each apartment has three bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as an open-plan kitchen and living area which flows onto a spacious outdoor terrace. The Master bedroom has access to the balcony and comprises a large en-suite bathroom and walk in cupboard. The two additional bedrooms (queen and twin) share a spacious bathroom.

Premium apartments offer increased affordability without compromising on quality or service. Apart from being slightly smaller, they are identical to the beachfront units

The Location:
Located on the Islandʼs warm west coast, is at equal distance between Le Morne and Flic en Flac. This once sleepy neighborhood, known for its beautiful salt pans, wide open areas and picturesque mountain ranges is slowly being transformed as the "place to be" in Mauritius with the steady influx of foreign residents and upmarket Mauritian families making it their home.

The main places of interest span from Tamarina Golf Course all the way down to La Balise Marina with lots to offer. Predominantly residential, this neighborhood has only three small hotels but a wide range of quality shops and restaurants.

The complex is just over an hours drive from the SSR airport, 20 minutes drive to Le Morne Beach, 20 minutes drive to Flic en Flac and fifty minutes drive to Port Louis, the capital city.

Directions
Leaving the SSR airport, engage the highway in the direction of Port Louis.
You will count 7 roundabouts on arriving at the Curepipe Round About, and carry on in the Direction of Port Louis.
5 roundabouts later (with the IVTB on your left and the Phoenx Beer facrory on your right) turn left towards Vacoas, and Curepipe.
On the next roundabout turn right towards Jumbo Phoenix Shopping Centre.
Drive past Macdonalds on your left until the Junction then turn right...
Drive down all the way until the next Junction (La Louise), then turn left towards Flic en Flac, West.
Drive straight down Palma road until the next round about and Turn Right, to Flic en Flac.
You will now soon be seeing the ocean. At the bottom of the descent, facing the KFC turn left at the traffic lights towards black River, Tamarin.
Drive straight ahead, through the next intersection traffic lights.
At the next round about, just after Tamarina Gold & Spa, turn Right towards Black River. (You will see a Leora sign to the right of all the others)
At the Roundabout, set your kilometers to Zero, and travel 5.8km, or until you see the illuminated BEACHFRONT APARTMENTS sign on your right hand side... It is opposite the entrance to the "Domaine Mon Calme"

Famous West Coast attractions

Le Morne Cultural Landscape, a rugged mountain that juts into the Indian Ocean in the southwest of Mauritius was used as a shelter by runaway slaves, maroons, through the 18th and early years of the 19th centuries. Protected by the mountain’s isolated, wooded and almost inaccessible cliffs, the escaped slaves formed small settlements in the caves and on the summit of Le Morne. The oral traditions associated with the maroons, have made Le Morne a symbol of the slaves’ fight for freedom, their suffering, and their sacrifice, all of which have relevance to the countries from which the slaves came - the African mainland, Madagascar, India, and South-east Asia. Indeed, Mauritius, an important stopover in the eastern slave trade, also came to be known as the “Maroon republic” because of the large number of escaped slaves who lived on Le Morne Mountain.
Aapravasi Ghat is the Immigration Depot where indentured labourers disembarked and were processed before being sent to work on the sugar estates of Mauritius. It is the most important surviving manifestation of the indentured labour system from the 19th and 20th centuries. Only 3 structures of the original site remain. Aapravasi Ghat represents the beginning of “the Great Experiment” by the British government after the abolition of slavery. Mauritius was the first colony to receive indentured labourers under this scheme. Most of the immigrants came from India, Southeast Asia, Madagascar and Eastern Africa. Over 450.000 of them came to Mauritius. The system soon spread over other countries in Africa and the Caribbean. This permanent depot dates from 1849. It includes sheds for immigrants, quarters for officers, a hospital and offices. All immigrants were registered and photographed after disembarkation. These archives have been saved, and are now in the Indian Immigration Archives of the Mahatma Gandhi Institute. After the end of the indentured labour system in the 1920’s, parts of the depot were gradually destroyed by the government and by cyclone Carol in 1960. It has become a national monument in 1987. The site was recommended by ICOMOS in its April 2006 advice to be deferred back to the State Party, to place the proposal into a broader
