The Ecological House of Serenity description

The House of Serenity is settled 300 m. near the village center. Next to its fence indeed there is the free shuttle stop carrying tourists to gondolas and ski lifts only 600 m

By us babies discover again their high chair, cot, color book and the adults, books, DVD.

A week holiday by us may be the fitting idea as a wedding present or Christmas present

Kitchen : sink, dish washing machine, hashing machine fridge, freezer, cooker, micro oven.
On the first floor : sleeping room with a large bed for two people, two bedside tables with two bedside lamps, two bunk-beds, a dresser, a coat-stand, direct access to a bathroom and a balcony, and a second sleeping room with one single bed and a bed for a couple, large window, a bathroom and a toilet.
In the basement floor: three comfortable single beds, table, wardrobe, independent ski-deposit cabinet. Parking in the garden surrounding the house. Considering that this flat has cots, highchair, buggy and gives access to our private fence garden, we particularly suggest family with children to enjoy a wonderful and peaceful holyday by us.

Bedroom 1 is situated at the west of the building and there is a delightful view from the balcony ( 10 sqm. ) with direct access to Bathroom 1. It has one double bed with polster, pillows, two bedside tables with bedside lamps, a bunch bed with curtains and two bedside lamps, a chest of drawers, two chairs, two coat-stands, built-in wardrobe with blankets, an elevated cupboard under the ceiling where to put luggages, a wooden ladder, a shining lustre under the ceiling.
Bedroom 2 is situated at the north side of the building and there is a nice view from the large luminous window. It has two single beds, a bedside table with bedside lamp, a little table with a mirror, two chairs, a built-in wardrobe with blankets,a shining lustre under the ceiling.
Bedroom 3 has three single comfortable beds, wardrobe, table, independent ski-deposit cabinet.
In the lounge there is a sofa bed for two people, a vacuum cleaner and small household appliances.

In the house the central heating supplies the radiators in the two apartments. Each radiator has a thermostatic valve to control the temperature. The electrical current is earthed in every apartement to warrant the security of our customers. We have got the conformity attestation from the CONSUEL ( French national committee for the security in electrical use).
Each flat has a fire estnguesher.
At only 200 m. near the house there are swimming pool for adults and a separate one with tobogan for children. For the children it is possibble to ride a pony and have a lot of fun by the circus settling by us during the summer. Considering that our is a low allergen environment with tackling fresh air we welcome long term renters to whom we reserve special tarifs. Smoking is not allowed except on terrace and balcony. Are at your disposal books from our private library including novels, histories of literature in French, Italian, English, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, scientific, human and social sciences issues.

Les Carroz enjoys a sunny location in The Grand Massif region of the french Alps.It is a family friendly, charming, authentic village which, due to its resident population, remains open all round the year. Village life in Les Carroz centers around the village square where one can enjoy interesting shops, pleasant pavement cafes and every Tusday the market. Les Carroz is an ideal winter venue for families. In 15 minutes drive you may reach the Pierre Carré Golf area. Children under the age of 12 can attend a local activity school in the village, leaving parents free to enjoy the skiing or the golf. There are two nursery slopes and two ski schools providing lessons for all ages and all ranges of abilities.

Winter in Les Carroz

Les Carroz, a traditional french alpine village, has an excellent snow record due to its close proximity to Mount Blanc. Les Carroz is one of the five linked resorts which make up the huge Grand Massif ski area.The other linked resort include Samoens, Morillon, Sixt and Flaine. The Alps are snow covered from December to April and basking in sunshine from June to September. Consider that the Climate in the mountains is quite variable day to day but generally it is dry and healthy.
Les Carroz can offer an abundance of excellent skiing for all abilities and all ages as well as wide range of other winter activities including: dog sledding, ice-skating, climbing, snow boarding. There is a lot of high quality skiing with 265 Km of pists on offer.There are ski runs to suit every ability and taste. We can help you hire any equipment you need or book ski lessons.

Every February a magnificient air hot ballon festival is held in Les Carroz. You may watch
the flambée descente ( night time skiers with flame ). Free mulled wine is offered in the village square not only when Santa Claus comes to offer chocolate to the children! At only 40 Km. far from Les CARROZ, sitting at th base of Mont Blanc, you will admire its summit at 4810 m. above the see level.There are gondolas, telecabines, tramways and trains to take you up as you dare, the highest being the Aiguille du Midi, a pinnacle of approximatively 4000 m. Visiting the stunning “ Mer de Glace “ France’s largest glacier, to reach on the original 1908 Montenvers train, from Chamonix, then by cable. car. Do not forget the ice grotto, the permanent exibition of wildlife, and the cristal gallery hollowed out of the rock face. In the Summer, especially, day trips to Italy trough the Mont Blanc tunnel are also appreciated as well as to Martigny in Switzerland.

Notes to rental charges:
Notes to the rental rates

When you wish to proceed with a booking, we will forward a booking confirmation listing the dates, holiday costs and linen charges for your consideration.
We will reserve the accommodation for 72 hours. Based on your verbal or e-mail instruction to proceed with a booking and this option will expire if we do not receive the deposit.
Once we have received the deposit we will send you confirmation by e-mail.

Booking deposit at the time of booking confirmation is 25% of the rental sum, it is not refundable. It covers loss or damage in the flat, and deduction of 150 € to cover eventual excessive cleaning.

The security deposit, of course is given back totally to you if in the flat you will not do damages!

If the booking is made within eight weeks of the letting the whole of the rental payment is to be forwarded with your booking form, together with the security deposit of 300 €.

If the booking is made prior to eight weeks of the letting a booking deposit of 25% of the rental sum is to be forwarded with your booking form. The remaining balance of the rental sum and the security deposit of 300 € then are due eight weeks prior to the letting.

If a cancellation is requested more than eight weeks in advance of the letting the balance of any monies paid, less the rental deposit, will be returned to the tenant. If the cancellation is requested within the eight weeks prior to the letting the owner will retain the 25% rental deposit and also reserves the right to retain the balance of the rental (should it not be possible to re-let the property for this period). Rates are subject to change without notice.


Holiday makers' personal possession must be covered by their travel insurance.

You are responsible for subscribing an insurance policy covering all physical injuries due to ski falls, falls on ice, cars accidents wherever and in any circumstances.

Deposit check is cashed in immediately.
Inventory list to check at beginning and at the end of guest stay.
Rental prices are originally quoted in Euros €.
Our prices include: central heating, water, electricity, tourism tax, car park in the garden, ski and snowboard locker.
Our prices do not include: any food or catering, any linen or towels ( see additional note ), any cleaning on the intermediate weekend(s), if your stay covers 2 weeks or more.
In the best interest of hygiene for all guests, ensuring the beds are kept clean, rental of linen for the total number of people staying must be arranged with ourselves.
Bed linen is left out for you to make up the beds as required.
Linen are charged 10 € for each person per week and one towel 5 € per week.


If you are staying for more than one week and have booked a change of linen and towels, please leave all used linen and laundry in the bath ready for collection on the intermediate Saturday. The change of linen will be dropped off, again ready for you to make up the beds as required.
If possible we try to match your date requirements. Please contact with details for a quote. Prices are per week running Saturday 12.00 up to next Saturday at 10.00, anyway for key collection and arrival times arrangement please ask. Mid-week bookings and long Weekend bookings are also possible, please ask.
The owner’s weekend rates apply to Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. For group up to 18 people the next door apartment is also available. Discounts available for multiple week booking. Special offer for Christmas and New Year ( 14 nights ). Special offer for two following weeks in July and August ( 14 nights ). The rental prices assume the apartment is left clean and tidy; cleaning can be arranged for an additional charge of 150 €, if required.
We hope you understand that any of the following charges may be deducted from your security deposit:
- Cleaning of the oven 10€,
- Disposal of rabbish and/ or empyting of foodstuffs from the cupboards 10€,
- Empyting the fridge and/or cleaning the fridge 10€,
- Removal of linen from the beds 10€,
- Replacement of any broken or damaged items “at cost”,
- Replacement of the keys or doors zappers which are not safely returned “at costs”.
