How do you order the search results?


We randomise the order of the search results on a daily basis. We feel that this is the fairest system to ensure that all advertisers get an equal amount of exposure on the website.

My property is never at the top of the search results page - what can I do?

Unfortunately there may be occasions when your property is at the top of the results and times when it is towards the bottom.

How does the featured property system work on the homepage?

The two featured properties on the homepage are randomly selected from all the adverts in our database and should change whenever the page is refreshed or reloaded.

My property is never one of the featured properties - why is this?


If there are 500 properties on the website then your property should theoretically appear on the homepage at least once if you refresh the page 250 times. (There are two featured properties on the homepage).

Please bear in mind that if there are 5000 visitors to the website each day then your property should appear on the homepage at least 20 times giving you large exposure to holidaymakers.

How does the recent property system work?


These properties are randomly selected from all properties that have been added to the website within the last seven days.

I'm having problems modifying my advert - what can I do?

Can I email or post my images to you?


Yes, although we do feel it's easier to use the uploading system in the admin section of the website whilst creating or modifying your advert. If you prefer to send us the images another way then please email images to images@villaholidayhomes.com or send hard copies to

We request that you indicate which photo you would like to be the primary image on your advert i.e. the image that appears in the search results & featured property. Please include a stamp-addressed envelope if you would like us to return the photos to you.

How long does it take for hard-copy images to appear on the website?


Once we have received the images they should be uploaded onto the website within one working day.

I have accidentally deleted some emails from holidaymakers - what can I do?


We store copies of all emails between holidaymakers and property owners in the event that advertisers have difficulties accessing their emails or have accidentally deleted them. If you would like us to send you copies of the enquiries from holidaymakers then you then email support@villaholidayhomes.com stating the specific problem.
